Derek Maxfield believes success is measured not just by achievement but by impact. After 12 years in software development, he saw an opportunity to reimagine direct sales. In 2012, he co-founded Younique with his sister, pioneering a digital-first cosmetics company. Younique was developed to support Saprea, a nonprofit serving survivors of childhood sexual abuse. Derek considers Saprea the fulfillment of a promise to live for something greater.
