Derek and Shelaine Maxfield know that healing and hope can change the world. In 2014, they created Saprea to support survivors of child sexual abuse and to help families prevent abuse before it occurs. Shelaine, as founder and board chair, champions survivor voices through leadership and global speaking engagements. Derek, Younique CEO and original Saprea board member, helped turn their vision into reality by combining entrepreneurial expertise with philanthropic passion. In 2021, they established the Derek & Shelaine Maxfield Family Foundation.
